Non-specialised translations
Non-specialised texts are translated by experienced language professionals. Since this type of translation does not require expert knowledge, the participation of a specialist in the given field is not necessary for the translation process.
Specialised translations
Specialised texts require the participation of experts in the translation process. These experts are trained professionals in the given field and thus guarantee the highest quality rendering. This type of translation can be conducted in one of two ways:
- The translation is first performed by an in-house translator; it is then subjected to a thorough substantive proofreading by an expert.
- The translation is first performed by an expert; it is then subjected to a thorough linguistic proofreading by an in-house translator.
Sworn translations
Sworn translations are renderings performed by sworn translators appointed by the Ministry of Justice. This type of translation is traditionally required for a variety of official documents, those incorporating stamps, seals, signatures etc.
In the case of each translation project we follow established translation and verification procedures, aimed at the delivery of a rendering that is not only linguistically correct, but also adapted culturally to the target audience.
